About Us
The Gym Kidz Inc. management and leadership team consists of Joslyn Pedraja-Varona, Jennifer Burnley Austin and Amy McCoy which have an extensive amount of experience in connection with all areas of gymnastics coaching, management, cheerleading and fitness education.
Joslyn Pedrja-Varona is the founder and President of Gym Kidz Inc., and she has over 15 years of coaching and management experience in the sport of gymnastics, tumbling, and childrens fitness. As the leader of Gym Kidz North Miami Beach facility, and as the leader of the current gymnastics program at the Coral Gables Youth Center, she has extensive experience conducting and implementing gymnastics programs.
Jennifer Burnley Austin has extensive experience in the realm of gymnastics, and she is the co-founder and Vice President of Gym Kidz Inc. She brings over 15 years of coaching, management, program development and related experience in the sport of gymnastics, cheerleading and childrens fitness. As the leader of the current gymnastics program at the Coral Gables Youth Center, she has an established successful track record and she has extensive experience conducting and implementing gymnastics programs.
Amy McCoy is the Corporate Manager of Gym Kidz, Inc., and she brings over 19 years of coaching and management experience in the sport of gymnastics, cheerleading and childrens fitness. Amy has managed multiple facilities such as Georgia Southern University Gymnastic Center, The Ultimate Dream Academy, World Xtreme and Gym Kidz Inc. She has also been the Head Coach for several competitive teams and holds numerous certifications by USA Gymnastics. She has developed and implemented a program curriculum, employee training, and served as a gymnastic consultant. Amy conducts all staff education and training, program implementation, program development, class outlines, safety requirements, competitive team development and the general oversight of the success of all programs.

The preschool program TUMBLING FOR TREASURES for ages 28 months to 4 years old is designed to help your child physically, mentally, and socially, while working on strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance. Children are encouraged to explore body movement, awareness, and expression. The program utilizes the newest and most imaginative curriculum.

The GO FOR THE GOLD recreational program is for children ages 5 and older. The number one goal is to provide gymnastics in a fun and safe environment. In order to achieve our goals, the following six levels have been designed to accommodate each childs need.

Girls Only GymFit Program

Our cheerleading program is for anyone in 1st grade or older. There is no experience necessary. This class focuses on jumps, motions, tumbling and stunt technique. This class is great for anyone who is
interested in pursuing the sport of cheerleading at any level.

All parties have a structured activities session with a variety of enjoyable group exercises on all the competitive events. Thank you for considering Gym Kidz Summer Gymnastics Camps, for your child's summer camp experience. Our weekly Summer Camp Sessions offer a variety of enjoyable group activities designed for campers to work with and learn progressive gymnastics skills on all the competitive events. They will rotate on the Vault, Bars, Balance Beam and Floor. Participants will improve their physical coordination, flexibility and strength. In addition they practice fun skills on the trampoline, tumble track, and air bag. Fun activities like Arts & Crafts, Games, Movie Time, cooking, and much, much more are scheduled for this 5-day adventure. All camps are in-house. Campers must be 3 Years up. Hot Shots & Hot Tots
This class is for the advanced gymnast ready for a more challenging curriculum. The Hot Tots and Hot Shots program prepares young athletes for a future on the competitive team.
Purple & Gold Performance
Ages 6 years old and above
The purple and gold team is required to practice two days a week, and they will have several performances through out the year.
Compulsary Competitive Team
Ages 5 years old and above
The Gym Kidz competitive program will help train gymnasts both mentally and physically to be the best they can be. Competition in the U.S.A.G. and A.A.U. leagues, which offer year-round competitions in the local and regional area, is available.
